While Google is doing impressively well during these tough times, Yahoo! has reported a loss in Q4 due to economic constrains.
Ms Bartz, Yahoo!’s CEO, said: “The company made important investments while aggressively managing costs, leaving us better positioned to weather the economic downturn and emerge stronger when advertiser spending improves”.
However, Yahoo! managed to make a net profit of £424m in 2008, compared with $660m in 2007.
