Yahoo – Decker Out, Bartz In

The Wall Street Journal reports that Susan Decker, an eight year veteran at Yahoo has resigned. Following this, Carol Bartz (former chief executive at Autodesk inc.) has been announced by Yahoo as the new CEO. Read the full article here. Best of luck Carol!!

Microsoft bar code in colour

Microsoft has entered the mobile readable bar code arena with a colour advancement. It is smaller than previous methods, but Microsoft says that due to the colour aspect it can store more info. Google’s toolbar PageRank updated

Matt Cutts has comfirmed on his blog the latest Google toolbar PageRank update.  As expected it happened at the end of December and the next one is due by the end of March. Here at Tug, Search Engine Marketing specialists, we have not noticed massive changes, though will keep an eye for further changes.
