RIM Launches Blackberry 6 Operating System

RIM have finally unveiled the highly awaited Blackberry 6 operating system for it’s smartphones. The new operating system has a host of new features bringing it up to date including a new web kit based Internet browser with HTML 5 support, a new universal search feature (similar to that on Palms WebOS and Google Android), social network aggregation and many more new features. RIM have committed to upgrading a selection of old Blackberrys including the Bold 9700, Bold 9650 and the Pearl 3G. They will also be launching a new slider phone called the Blackberry Torch.
