Social media has been an influencing factor in many retailers e-commerce strategies this year, with many giving their sites a social make over by adding reviews, Q&As and forums. For retailers, social media’s value comes mainly in the form of referrals and relationship building.
I found this great little presentation recently from Paul Marsden at Net Promoter which looks as loyalty campaigns as part of social media strategies and the emergence of ’social affiliates’. Worth a look I think!
