Google gives the Iphone a New App

Google have released a new app for the Iphone called “Google Goggles”. This feature enables you to be able to make search queries through google using the camera on your phone instead of text.

When you take a photo, Google will analyse the image and highlight the objects it recognises, all you have to do then is click on them to find out the info your looking for.

This is more of an experimental tool at the moment, as I can see quite a few faults that could regularly occur , e.g. Google not recognising the photo. Never the less, it’s new & exciting and Google are looking in to all the possibilities of visual search and hope to update and improve as much as they can.
