Google will launch a Chrome tablet before the end of the year

Google is working on releasing a tablet that will use Chrome’s operating system. They haven’t released the name of the manufacturer that will produce them, but the company intends to launch them before the end of year …. coinciding with Xmas.

Much of the current Google’s strategy is to make Chrome OS a system leader. The problem is that pretty much everybody thinks that Chrome is just a web browser. And the fact that Google already has an operating system, Android, doesn’t help.

Although things may change before the end of the year. According to the New York Times, Google plans to launch the device running with Chrome OS in a few weeks. They used a similar strategy  with the launch of Android and the Nexus One.
