Google MapMaker

Great new product by Google has been opened up in the form of Google MapMaker (user generated tagging of live Google Maps). Only open in the US but Google Account holders are being asked to tag favourite shops, restaurants even bike paths and picnic spots under the theory that ‘you know your neighbourhood best’.
You can use Google Earth to watch others as they edit – not sure that will be very exciting but a neat idea none the less.
