QR codes from space?!

I wasn’t quite sure if this was a joke at first but having read about it, it seems quite logical. Many people use Google Earth or Google Maps on a daily basis to look at locations on the ground (in fact Google Maps has been reportedly downloaded 400 millions times!). So it would seem to make sense to stick a QR code on a company’s building that is viewable for example on Google Maps!
And that is exactly what Phillips & Company have done, enabling any business to transform its roof into a dynamic marketing tool via its Blue Marble service. Pretty cool huh!
