Google Acquire Teracent

Google have officially announced the acquisition of a Display Optimisation company called Teracent. Google have already expressed how they wish to use the companies tools to help advertisers on both the DoubleClick network and Google Content Network. Over 50% of Companies Plan to Increase Search Budgets for Measurable ROI

The annual UK Search Engine Marketing Benchmark Report, which surveyed 800 client companies, agencies and search consultants, has found that 55% of companies intend to increase natural search budgets and just under half (45%) will up paid search investment this year as they look for measurable ROI in difficult economic times.

24.1% of searches sending traffic to Google News are celebrity related

According to a report by Hitwise, 24.1% of searches sending traffic to Google News were celebrity related. NMA had this to say:
