Yahoo Announces 2nd Quarter Income

Yahoo have reported second quarter net income of $141.4 million, or 10 cents a share, on revenue excluding traffic acquisition costs of $1.14 billion. Yahoo Decrease Minimum Bids on Keywords

Yahoo have been sending out emails to their customers; letting them know that they are dropping the keyword minimum bids. Yahoo say they have done this due to the current economic client, this will help advertisers squeeze the most out of their Yahoo budgets which can only be a good thing!

Over 50% of Companies Plan to Increase Search Budgets for Measurable ROI

The annual UK Search Engine Marketing Benchmark Report, which surveyed 800 client companies, agencies and search consultants, has found that 55% of companies intend to increase natural search budgets and just under half (45%) will up paid search investment this year as they look for measurable ROI in difficult economic times.

Yahoo Release New Targeting Enhancements

To catchup with Google and MSN, Yahoo have released some major new targeting features to it’s search marketing platform. Yahoo – Decker Out, Bartz In
